![]() So to me, there's certainly replayability in kind of approaches, and experiences on different campaign runthroughs. ![]() Do you build up enough units to just rotate between a few each turn? Or do you rest between every turn?.Upgrades or Special Abilities: Do you just focus on pouring coins into uber basic-unit type upgrading? Or do you use your special ability upgrades a lot? Or mix the two?.Your units mix: Diversity? All of one unit? Just a couple types? etc.So you simply won't get to fight on every island, so there's replayability and a different campaign experience on subsequent tries in that way. Your map choices during the campaign: You CAN'T play every single island in a campaign because of the way the campaign "closes off" islands behind you as you work you way right/East on the campaign map.Procedurally Generated Maps: In theory, you and I will never play on the same maps in the course of a campaign.Imho it has some replayability in a few ways. ![]() So eventually if you hit some road blocks, you'll just want to start a fresh savegame/session. You don't get a unit back if every single one unit-member gets killed off. The Roguelite aspect is if you hit a "bad" island combat situation, you may lose all your units or most of your units in one fell swoop. ![]()
